The main goal of this project is to optimize the tracking and management of Keep Social Media Social's overall capacity and schedule to improve project planning and prioritization. By leveraging existing tools like Asana, Toggl, and spreadsheets, or potentially adopting new solutions, the project aims to provide a clear understanding of individual staff capacity and enhance the agency’s efficiency in time management.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Analyzing the current capacity and schedule tracking methods used by Keep Social Media Social.


- Researching and evaluating existing tools such as Asana, Toggl, and spreadsheets for their suitability in improving capacity and schedule management.


- Developing a plan for implementing the chosen tools or new solutions to optimize capacity and schedule tracking.


- Testing the new system and making necessary adjustments based on feedback.


- Providing training and documentation for staff on how to use the new tools or solutions effectively.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- A comprehensive analysis of the current capacity and schedule tracking methods used by Keep Social Media Social.


- A report outlining the research and evaluation of existing tools and potential new solutions for capacity and schedule optimization.


- A detailed plan for implementing the chosen tools or new solutions, including timelines and resource requirements.


- A tested and refined system for capacity and schedule tracking, along with documentation and training materials for staff.



Final deliverables:


- A final report summarizing the project's findings, the implemented system, and its impact on project planning and prioritization.


- A presentation to the Keep Social Media Social team explaining the new system and providing training on its use.
