Learner goals and capabilities

This experience is designed for learners who are beginning their journey in web development, ideally focusing on the React framework. As part of their web development course, students will gain hands-on experience in web and app development using the React framework.


By collaborating with the industry professionals on your projects, learners will engage with real-world problems that emphasize planning, design, and implementation, while honing their skills in version control, unit testing, and software design fundamentals. All the while being able to provide a quality product to the client.



Student Skills & Technologies:

· Web Development: New to React (learning in real time during Fall quarter)

· Programming Languages: Java (OOP focus), Python

· Databases: SQL and NoSQL (including MongoDB)

· Development Skills: Version control (Git), unit testing, software design fundamentals


Other Notes: Students are beginners in web development and will be learning the React stack as part of the course.
