This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their research and data analysis skills, as well as their understanding of digital marketing strategies, to a real-world scenario. The tasks are closely related and focused on data collection and organization, ensuring that the project remains manageable and within the scope of a single academic program.

JIT Logistics is a delivery and transportation company based in Toronto that specializes in just-in-time and last-mile logistics services. We want to better understand our target market, customer behavior, and the overall logistics industry to develop clear strategies for growth and competitive differentiation. Students will: Study our company’s core services, delivery model, customer promise, and operational values Identify our target customers (e.g., e-commerce businesses, local retailers, B2B partners) and analyze their needs, expectations, and pain points Research the logistics and transportation industry in Ontario, including emerging trends (e.g., automation, sustainability, e-commerce delivery expectations) Conduct competitor analysis on at least 5 local logistics companies operating in Ontario, evaluating services, pricing, brand, and positioning Provide strategic recommendations on how JIT Logistics can improve brand awareness, customer targeting, and service design Bonus tasks may include: Identifying ways JIT can stand out in a saturated market using innovation, value-added services, or niche specialization Suggesting long-term branding and marketing approaches that reflect our just-in-time identity The goal is to receive actionable insights and recommendations that will inform future marketing, branding, and operational decisions.

Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition Strategy for a Logistics Startup
This project focuses on helping JIT Logistics , a delivery and logistics startup, strengthen its digital presence and attract new clients across Ontario. Students will work on creating a scalable marketing and sales funnel tailored to the logistics sector, with an emphasis on small business clients, e-commerce retailers, and local distribution partners. By the end of the project, students will produce a digital growth playbook that includes research, campaign strategies, and client acquisition tactics to position JIT Logistics as a competitive and trusted logistics provider.
